Christmas Spirit

It is Dec 1st .....24 days and counting until Christmas,I'm doing my best to get ito the Christmas Spirit.Its not suppose to  about trying to shop for  gifts,decorating the tree and running around like a crazy person but I find myself and everyone I know doing this very thing.I have gifts to buy,cards to send, a dinner to prepare for,putting up the tree and decorating it,preparing for the christmas party at church and the list goes on.Every year its the same thing running around and obsessing about every little thing and all we should be doing is spending time with loved ones and reflecting on the true meaning of Christmas our Lord Jesus Christ's birth.It seems that every year more and more we concentrate on the material side of Christmas and ignore what Christmas is truly all about so I vow to try not to be this crazed ..obsessive person and concentrate more on keeping the Christ in Christmas ..he is the reason for the season.I wish everyone a stress free Christmas!
